I've been dabbling in some mail art swaps, and they are so much fun! For this swap, you will have one partner. You will send your partner a flat planner goodie -- like a sheet of decorative stickers, three or four project life cards, a variety of chore stickers, maybe a sampling of sticky notes, or even a card wrapped with washi samples. Something flat enough to go in an envelope without upping the postage cost too much. Perhaps put it inside a note card, or wrap a sheet of paper (with your swapbot info) around the flat goodie for stability. Then place it inside an envelope. Then decorate your envelope (both sides please) in a mail art style. You don't have to cover every single blank space on the envelope, but make it pretty. You can use stickers, washi, or even draw/color on the envelope. Whatever style of mail art you want to use is fine. Somehow theme a portion of your decorations around a planner theme. We're probably all new to mail art, so no high expectations on the mail art -- we're all welcoming and friendly and encouraging. In summation: Put a flat planner goodie and a note with your swapbot info inside an envelope. Decorate the envelope in a planner-themed mail art style. Have fun! | |
